Date Announced for 2025 Engineering Project Day
The Swindon and Wiltshire Institute of Technology has announced that the 2025 Engineering Project Day will take place on Thursday 22nd May 2025.
This annual event provides Level 3 Engineering students a platform to showcase their innovative projects to a panel of industry experts and compete for prestigious awards, including Best Design, Best Creativity, Best Innovation, and the coveted Project of the Year Award.
Last year’s event was a resounding success, with students demonstrating their ingenuity and skills in front of judges from leading institutions and industries. The highlight of 2024’s competition was Dan Johnson’s Project of the Year Award-winning project, praised for his dedication and outstanding execution.
Leah Palmer, Principal and CEO of New College Swindon, shared her enthusiasm: “Every year, the standard of work impresses us more and more. We are excited to see what our students will achieve in 2025.”
