Apprentices must be employed within a relevant job role to undertake the programme. Employers will set entry criteria for their apprenticeship vacancies.
If you do not already hold a minimum GCSE grade 4 in English and Maths or equivalent you will be required to study functional skills in these areas as part of your apprenticeship. Care certificate also needed to enter gateway.

For individuals employed within the Health and Social care sector looking to upskill and train to become a qualified Healthcare Assistant Practitioner.
The apprentice will be providing, supervising and co-ordinating high-quality and compassionate Health and Social Care for various people.
Apprentices will achieve the following qualification as part of their programme: A Level 5 Foundation Degree in Health and Social Care.
