Entry Requirements: Aged 19 or over Had at least one year break from education. No formal qualifications are required although evidence of personal progression from previous education would be beneficial.
Either GCSE English or GCSE Maths at grades A*-C (9-4). Students without a Maths qualification must study it alongside.

Course Overview:
The Access to Higher Education Diploma is a Level 3 qualification designed to give learners the knowledge and skills needed to study in higher education.
The qualification aims to prepare adults who do not have the necessary specialist qualifications to go to university, offer a general introduction to study skills and key areas of knowledge within the subject(s) taken, help learners to become independent, self-directed and prepared for the demands of undergraduate study offer a positive and supportive learning environment to build skills and confidence.
Subjects are studied in modules including ICT systems, Databases, Programming, Web Design, Spreadsheets, Computer Architecture, Infrastructure and Algorithms. Learners will also develop study and research skills through the core units, and are fully supported to complete a UCAS form.
Outcome/Achievement:
On successful completion of the Access course you can go on to study a Higher Level course at College or University.
